Kadampa Meditation Center Miami (“KMC Miami”) provides its services to you subject to the following terms and conditions. If you register for our classes or events within this website, or sign up for membership, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.
Cancellation policy for individual class and event registrations
If you cancel 24 hours prior to commencement of the event we will refund all except 25%. If you cancel on, or after, the event, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement; you should apply by e-mail to ad@meditationinmiami.org within 2 weeks of the end of the event. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
Guidelines for in-person attendance at Kadampa Meditation Center Miami
If you attend any of our classes or events in person, you agree to comply with the following guidelines:
- You must register in advance if you want to attend in person. Limited seating is available.
- Do not attend in-person if you:
- have symptoms of or have tested positive with COVID-19 over the past 14 days
- have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or
- have traveled from a place that is subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine
- Out of consideration for others, please:
- Wear your masks at all times
- Wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer upon arrival
- Practice social distancing at all times while onsite
- Please be advised:
- A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By visiting KMC Miami, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19
- In the interest of your personal safety and the community’s health, KMC Miami requires that all visitors observe the precautions listed above at KMC Miami. We reserve the right to request that visitors who are not following these guidelines leave the premises.
Conditions for recurring membership
Automatic Renewal
If you are signing up for membership, a monthly recurring payment will be automatically charged to the credit card you provide. Cash and checks are not accepted for membership payments. Monthly charges to your card will continue automatically unless we hear from you.
Declined & Expired Cards
If at any time your card is declined or has expired, your membership will be suspended immediately, and you will receive an email with instructions on how to provide updated payment information and reactivate your membership.
Membership Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a request by email to info@meditationinmiami.org. You must provide at least 5 days advance notice for cancellation. Cancellations will be effective on the next renewal date after the date of your email. No refunds will be issued for the remaining days of the month after the cancellation date.
