Freedom from Painful Emotions
In this series of classes, we will be looking at practical advice coming from the Buddhist tradition on how to overcome painful emotions. Through the practice of meditation we establish a basic inner peace and joy which gives us the confidence to change and improve our state of mind. In each class we will focus on how to deal with particular painful emotions such as worry and anxiety, loneliness, nostalgia and resentment. We will learn practical methods to reduce the power of these painful emotions so that we can enjoy greater mental peace and freedom.
