Meditation Class with Prayers for World Peace

Open to everyone, this beginner-friendly class includes a relaxing guided meditation, short teaching and inspiring chanted prayers. Discover how we can achieve a peaceful world by establishing peace within our own mind and learning to cherish others.

Each week we will cover a small section from the book, The New Eight Steps to Happiness: The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness, through which we can develop authentic love and compassion that will change our own and others’ lives. This uplifting class is a way to make a positive contribution to our world.

We should know that learning to cherish others is the best method for establishing world peace in general, and for our own peace of mind in particular.

Kids Class & Activities

While their parents attend the Meditation Class, kids can attend a special class just for them. The purpose of these classes is to develop and nurture positive qualities in young people through meditation and beneficial thinking.

Each class is organized around a Buddhist theme such as love and kindness and involves a range of fun activities including story-telling and crafts. Kids will also be gently guided through a simple meditation and given techniques to gain confidence, focus and consideration for others.
