The success of all our Dharma practices depends on receiving powerful blessings from our spiritual guide. These blessings are like the sunlight and water that nourishes the seed of our spiritual potential and causes it to grow. Through receiving our spiritual guide’s blessings we can transform our mind from a negative state to a positive state, from an unhappy state to a happy state, or from a state of weakness to a state of strength. In this day retreat we will engage in a special practice of Guru yoga according to Highest Yoga Tantra, through which we can receive powerful blessings very quickly.
11:00am – 12:30pm – Session 1 – Teachings on how to receive blessings through the practice of Guru yoga
2:00pm – 3:00pm – Session 2 – Guided practice & meditation on Guru yoga #1
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Session 3 – Guided practice & meditation on Guru yoga #2
This event will be based on instructions contained within the book The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
