The meditative practice of offering the mandala is a powerful method to accumulate merit, or positive energy in the mind. Merit is the main cause of experiencing good fortune in the future. In this retreat we will learn how to engage in the practice of offering the mandala according to the special instructions given in The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

11:00am – 12:30pm – Session 1: Teaching & commentary to the practice of mandala offerings
2:00pm – 3:00pm – Session 2: Guided mandala offering meditation #1
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Session 3: Guided mandala offering meditation #2

About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Tashi is a Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Miami. He has been practicing meditation in the Kadampa tradition for over 12 years. His gentle approach to meditation emphasizes the importance of keeping a happy and positive mind. He is appreciated for his clear, light-hearted and practical presentation of Buddhist teachings.

Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
