About the Retreat
In this relaxing three day guided weekend retreat (open to everyone from beginners to advanced meditators) we will learn how to use meditation on the mind (known as Mahamudra meditation) to experience greater peace, clarity, and well-being. Derived from the Buddhist Mahamudra tradition, you will be lead on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.
During the weekend we will also be learning about Buddha’s teachings and meditations on the “The Four Seals of Mahamudra”. These are four special insights into reality that enable us to experience the liberating wisdom of Mahamudra, the true nature of things.
Over the course of the weekend we will explore extraordinary topics such as:
- The peaceful nature of our own mind
- Subtle impermanence (learning to let go of negative minds)
- The origin of our suffering and how to abandon negative minds
- The practice of meditation and the path to true happiness
- Realizing the liberating wisdom of ultimate truth, emptiness.
The emphasis of the retreat will be gaining heartfelt experience of these profound wisdom’s through a combination of teachings, guided meditation, and discussion.
Each guided meditation session will include practical instructions and time for meditation. Our live stream retreats give people the opportunity to fully immerse into meditation which can be a truly transformational experience. You do not need to be a Buddhist to join our meditation retreats and they are attended by people from all walks of life. Everyone can learn to meditate and everyone can experience the tremendous benefits of meditation.
