This brief beginner-friendly retreat will include practical teachings and guided meditations that help us experience a joyful feeling of mental clarity and inner peace by meditating on the nature of our mind. Through practicing these meditations we will discover our potential for deep inner peace and happiness, and greatly increase our ability to pacify distractions and negativity within our own mind. Everyone is welcome. No previous meditation experience is required.

11:00am-12:15pm – Session 1 – Understanding our mind’s peaceful nature through experience
12:15pm-1:15pm – Lunch break (vegetarian lunch will be provided)
1:15pm-2:30pm – Session 2 – How to abide with a peaceful mind in meditation
About the Teacher
Lyn Fox is a longtime Buddhist meditation practitioner, and has taught meditation classes at Kadampa Centers in Florida and New Mexico. He is appreciated for his joyful and practical presentation of the teachings.
