Learning to meditate is an excellent method to overcome stress, promote general health and well-being, and maintain a positive and relaxed attitude to life. Through following practical instructions everyone can learn to meditate. During this workshop you will learn the basics of meditation and be guided through a series of brief practices designed to help you connect with a sense of inner peace and contentment. No prior experience of meditation is necessary to attend. Everyone is welcome!
About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Tashi is a Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Miami. He has been practicing and teaching meditation for over 15 years, and has taught many classes, events and retreats throughout Florida. He is appreciated for his clear, light-hearted and practical approach to teaching and guiding meditations.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 24 hours prior to commencement of the event we will refund all except 25%. If you cancel on, or after, the event, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement; you should apply by e-mail to [email protected] within 2 weeks of the end of the event. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
