About the Workshop
Meditation is a great way to overcome stress, promote health and well-being, and maintain a positive and relaxed attitude to life. Through following practical instructions, everyone can learn to meditate. In this brief workshop you will learn the basics of meditation so that you can practice with confidence and joy. This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone wishing to improve the quality of their meditations.
During the workshop, we will explore the following:
- What are the benefits of meditation?
- How do we get started?
- How do we set up our meditation space?
- How long do we meditate?
- What do we focus on?
- What are some techniques to help us overcome distractions?
2:00pm-3:15pm – Session 1
3:15pm-3:45pm – break
3:45pm-5:00pm – Session 2
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 24 hours prior to commencement of the event we will refund all except 25%. If you cancel on, or after, the event, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement; you should apply by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org within 2 weeks of the end of the event. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
