About the Retreat
Of all Buddha’s teachings, the most far-reaching and transformative are his teachings on the wisdom that realizes emptiness, the true nature of reality. Through understanding, contemplating and meditating on emptiness, we gain the power and freedom to choose constructive, beneficial, and positive states of mind, and to let go of well-worn patterns of thinking that give rise to only pain and problems.
During this special weekend meditation retreat, we will be guided through meditations that awaken this special wisdom within us. These teachings and practices are both profoundly thought-provoking and directly applicable to our day-to-day life. Ultimately it is by developing this wisdom that we can learn to solve our own problems and be of greater benefit to others.
This retreat is suitable both for beginners and those with more experience. All sessions will be fully guided, and silence will be observed between sessions on Saturday. Includes vegetarian lunch on Saturday. Everyone is welcome!
