Description
When we experience problems, suffering or unhappiness, where are these experiences coming from? We normally assume they are coming from outside of us, or that there is something wrong with us. However, these unpleasant experiences are the result of negative karmic imprints in our mind, often from previous lives. Until our negative karma is exhausted, problems will keep appearing in our lives, and we will continue to feel stuck in a cycle of suffering beyond our control. Through engaging in special meditation practices, we can purify our negative karma before it ripens as painful experiences. This is one of the kindest things we can do for ourselves and others.
In this one-day guided meditation retreat, we will learn how to remove the causes of our future suffering as well as obstacles to our spiritual development by engaging in the purification practice of Buddha Vajrasattva. This is a very simple yet powerful method of purification. Through purifying our negativity, our mind will gradually become happier, our good qualities will increase, and all our problems will gradually disappear. Everyone is welcome. No previous meditation experience is required.
