You are invited to join us for a very special evening to celebrate the grand opening of our Center’s new location in the heart of Coral Gables!
The main event will be an inspiring public talk and guided meditation with National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Demo. During the talk Gen Demo will offer heartfelt advice and guidance on how to develop our inner peace and find lasting happiness and contentment, based on Buddha’s timeless teachings.
There will also be group prayers and a brief reception with appetizers and refreshments prior to the talk, for anyone who wishes to join in.
Please feel free to attend for any part or all of the evening’s activities. No prior experience is needed to participate.

Light appetizers and refreshments will be available as guests arrive to check in for the public talk
7:30 – 9:00 p.m. – Public Talk & Guided Meditation
with National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Demo
Cost: $15 in advance (or $20 at the door).

About the Speaker
Gen Kelsang Demo is the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC. She is an ordained Buddhist nun and has been teaching meditation and modern Buddhism for over 18 years. As a National Spiritual Director Gen Demo teaches at Centers across the country.
Gen Demo is deeply respected as a teacher and practitioner. She demonstrates a wealth of practical knowledge and provides clear and inspiring teachings for people of all levels of interest. She is known for her warmth and clear presentation of Buddha’s teachings.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 24 hours prior to commencement of the event we will refund all except 25%. If you cancel on, or after, the event, no refunds are given. Exceptions may be made in circumstances such as sickness or bereavement; you should apply by e-mail to [email protected] within 2 weeks of the end of the event. Any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations are donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
