About the Talk
Each of us has access to an endless supply of peace and happiness within our own minds. Buddhist teachings present many meditation and positive thinking techniques we can use to connect with this potential for happiness within ourselves. During this talk, we will explore how we can begin to use the practices of meditation and mindfulness to live with greater joy and purpose.
About the Speaker
Gen Kelsang Sangden is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of the Kadampa Meditation Center in Mexico City. She is also the National Spiritual Director of Mexico. Gen Sangden has been a disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for 20 years and has studied, practiced and given instruction in meditation and modern Buddhism extensively. She is appreciated for her good example and for her loving and clear advice.
